Ah yes, hockey. Followed it during my twenties, but haven’t seen a game in years. Incidentally, all of my friends have jumped on the hockey bandwagon, and are insisting that I accompany them to a game.
I can’t think of ice without thinking of inserting it. Probably not your connotation at all, actually.
