Hi there.
I’ve dragged my heels on this awhile now and felt it was finally time to throw this up. Besides, if the first book taught me anything it is that I work better with deadlines in place to reach for.
Without further adieu, my second full-length release is nearly ready to roll out. This one has not taken as long as the first and, prior to editing, it was long enough that I have broken it into multiple parts.
Without further adieu, I give you the Books of Savannah:
- Book One – Just Prey
- Released February 10, 2015
- The first short stories that formed the skeleton of Just Prey appeared on these very blog pages in the summer of 2013. I was on vacation in my hometown of Calgary attending the Stampede when I decided this was going to be more than another simple series of short stories like so many I have created here.
- The book was written with Rush providing the soundtrack.

- Book Two – Darwin’s Sword
- Available for pre-order now. Release date is March 24, 2016
- The closing scene of this book appeared in my head while driving home one evening with Peter Gabriel crooning “More Than This”. It took many forms from happy to sad before I settled on what you will be reading here…and it may change yet as I have until March 13 to finalize it.
- The soundtrack for writing this one has been the music of Peter Gabriel.

And, for the first time I am pleased to share:
- Book Three – The Orphan War
- October 7, 2016, is now a dual celebration of my fifth annual 42nd birthday and the tentative release of the third book.
- The closing scene of this book came to me this past Friday…and even I didn’t see it coming.
- If I hook a publisher, this last date may change.

Pleased to pimp Robin Ludwig as my designer for all three novel covers….of course, you haven’t seen the third yet.
Oh wait, the cover…this is what we’re here to see, after all:
Love the cover. Presumably Savannah is looking towards home. Looking forward to reading.

I loved the first cover and I definitely love the second too! I’m so excited for you, but also for me, because soon I can read Savannah again 🙂
Congratulations, my friend!
