Skelly Manor Re-Covered

Skelly Manor, on the initial release of the first five short stories, used stock covers from Amazon. Nothing wrong with that, but figured it was about time I corrected that. Spent some time updating the covers in anticipation of the sixth short story...yes, there will be a sixth...and seventh...and already planning the tenth, as a matter of fact. As for the originals, in order of release, here we go:   And now we have the newest edition, available Feb 10, 2016, but already available for pre-orders: Yes, there was a flaw in the Kootenay Thaw cover when I'm posting was the fourth. Should be corrected as soon as Amazon accepts my corrected cover.  

No Target…Just Aim

It hit the ceiling, I swear it did. I lay back in awe and watched it go straight up in the void of air as though in search of a target in the stucco above. Gravity gave it no nevermind as it went upwards, in search of...there was no target, though. It never has a target. It simply has aim. The aim...the purpose of this shot is mess. Whether it is to be showered on a body, get caught in hair, or something more wants to mess with whatever it lands upon. Perhaps triggered by my hand alone, or by another's hand in company, it rockets out in search of its non-existent fantasy target. That target...the one it craves to coat.
