We all have labels that, like it or not, we were born with. Just a very quick note after mentioning this in Saturday's Awesome posting. Took my eldest daughter, 12 year old Aurora to see Howard Jones last night...and it was AWESOME!!! Third row seats in a tiny theatre in Oakville, Ontario. At one point I was musing about getting tickets for the second show that is tonight, but thought better of it. The show was quite different in that he and his "three piece band"...a drummer and a second keyboard player who was also in charge of sequencing and voice effects...played through every song on his first two albums, "Human's Lib" and "Dream Into Action". I feel bad as there are two of these I want to do this week...but have to pick one and next week's will become more of a review of the new Johnny English film. This week, however, three days after this posts (I am writing this almost a week ahead, so forgive if my math is messy) on October 25, I will be seeing an old friend perform live for the fourth time. I first saw Howard Jones perform at The Kingswood Theatre in Vaughan, Ontario at a local amusement park. I cannot say I recall who was with me...I want to say my brother, but not completely certain.
